Young Raymond Deveraux was cast through a portal and into the past as a result of the war at the Academy of Magic. His attempt to help someone in an era when witches and wizards are feared by those without magic lands him in the middle of a deadly struggle. Raymond befriends several of the era’s wizards in search of a solution to the village’s unrest. Yet, when he learns more about the village’s struggle, it appears that peace may be difficult to attain.
